”Starting my coaching journey has been an enlightening experience as I did not know what to expect from the ten coaching sessions I would complete. As someone who has not done any coaching sessions before in the past, I had my reservations on what I could gain from the sessions and how it could benefit my life.
However, going through the first few coaching session put my mind at ease and I was able to embrace the tools and techniques I taught by my coach to reflect on my life and to set realistic goals to improve aspects of my life. I discovered the wheel of life in my early coaching sessions which helped me to understand what was important in my life and learn what actions I could take to improve aspects of my life.
Setting goals was also explored early on in my coaching sessions and the methods I could use to achieve my goals effectively from setting small goals to achieve my long-term goals and having backup plans to complete my goals successfully. During my later coaching sessions, I learned about DISC profiling and the benefits of finding out what my personality traits are in different environments such as at work.
In addition to reflection methods which has made me change the way I think about looking at what I want to be, do, and have in the future. All the coaching sessions I have completed have given me a new way of thinking about goal setting and reflecting on what I want to accomplish in the future.
This has helped me to plan better for the future and put into place actions which will help me reach my future goals. I would like to thank my coach for the ten sessions I completed which gave me a unique perspective on planning for the future and equipped me with the tools and knowledge to tackle my goals successfully.

”I would say that my coaching sessions have helped with my attitude towards setting goals. My coach pushed me to see that there may not always be a straightforward answer and that there may be other options that can be taken for a better outcome to achieve the goal you have set yourself. I would say that having coaching sessions has positively pushed me to achieve my goals due to the fact I have found a new perspective. I can say that I have not reached all the goals I have set with my coach however with the coaching the goals I have set seem more manageable therefore I am more motivated to complete and achieve the goals.

Before I started these sessions I used to just take life as it came and really struggled to formulate any real plans, but even after the first few sessions I had come up with realistic goals that I felt I could achieve and with the SMART goal system I could measure how well I was doing which really helped me to keep motivated.

”Andrew was a great listener, very focused and empathetic in seeking out practical solutions to improve my productivity and well-being. The key was breaking things down into bite size pieces and setting attainable goals each week which Andrew could make me accountable for. He encouraged me to reflect more on my thought patterns and negative perceptions and really evaluate whether they were true. He provided me with a healthy perspective, giving me the tools to step out of some of these unhealthy perceptions. It allowed me to improve on these bad habits and create better ones. Added to that he pointed out the power of ‘intentions’ i.e. less procrastination and taking a path rather than sitting at a fork in the road anxious about making the wrong decision. It was also just helpful to have someone to talk to and workshop ideas. In that sense Andrew was very easy to chat to and be open with. Overall, it's been a very helpful and positive experience. If people have fitness coaches then why shouldn’t we have life coaches? Someone outside of your friendship and family group who can view things impartially without the shared baggage, and provide you with proven strategies and techniques that help you navigate life’s difficult travails and hopefully help you thrive. I would have no hesitation in recommending Andrew, he clearly knows his subject and has a genuine interest in helping people achieve more momentum, as well as greater happiness and self-awareness.
